What if I remove all VM's from library my Trial workstation 15 Pro and buy Option 2, update licence key on the downloaded Workstation 15 PRO and import the library back? this way I can save 50$. Why does option 2 costs one third cheaper than option 1? Option 2: Upgrade from Workstation 15.5 Player - This costs $100īoth options are to upgrade to Workstation 15 Pro Option1: Upgrade from Workstation Pro or Player version 12 or greater - This costs $149 I went to the website to purchase the licence key and I noticed that there are two options which is confusing. I also have Workstation Player 15.5 which I used before downloading the Workstation 15 Pro Trial version. I have been using vmware workstation 15 pro Trial version and I would like to upgrade so I can continue running multiple VM's locally and also be able to clone/linked vm etc.
